The rooms were beautifully maintained and brand-new with robes and a fabulous view and a kitchen, that's all we needed. Location: the hotel was not far from a lovely Ecuadorian restaurant and a super market. The property staff was very professional and highly professional, not annoying.

The modern king room with a bar had great views and a huge bed. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. The location was marvelous, close to Ecuador and the surrounding mountains. There was a lovely Ecuadorian restaurant just two blocks away.

The location met the demands, it was marvellous in an area of the city where there are lots of sight seeing options.

The location in a nice area was great and unbeatable. There were a market and stores nearby. Our room was fashionable and had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe.

The central location of the hotel is excellent. The café Mr. Bagel is conveniently located only 100 feet away. The hotel's restaurant is a good option for dinner. The staff provides excellent service and is highly professional. There is a bar located in the hotel's lobby.

The setting of the hotel was great and unbeatable, very close to many restaurants. The folks were nice and welcoming. Fairly quiet and absolutely fantastic room with a great view, everything was good.

This hotel offers great value for money with its spacious rooms and fabulous views across the city. The attention to detail is evident in the lovely smooth cotton sheets on the huge beds. I also appreciated the natural juices included in the breakfast.

The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. We were only there a very short time, but enjoyed the extensive buffet breakfast! The roses in the lobby and at turn-down, along with the chocolate, is a wonderful touch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

This hotel is definitely worthy of its 5-star rating. The venue is simply perfect, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The executive suite provided great convenience and comfort, with climate control for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the inclusion of a safe and a spacious lounge area added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Location, cleanliness, facilities and breakfast are important factors that make it still an option.

I have seen with some surprise that the attention you had months ago from the staff has not been the quality it used to be. After the check in someone always offered to carry your bags, accompanied you to the room and explained the amenities, travel in groups with colleagues and each had to bring his suitcase and find his room on his own, were not received with the drink or hand towel that the hotel was accustomed. In the elevators, when there were two more people, they were chatting rather than being attentive even to the possible needs of the guests. I could even go on with the inconvenience of long delays in the hotel bar, or orders never satisfied at breakfast time but I should go on much longer than I have already done . It would seem like minor things, which probably in another hotel would not be a major inconvenience, but it is not the kind of service that the Swissotel used to offer.

The property's location is unbeatable and enjoyable, just next door to the nicer retail areas of Quito. The services are spectacular, including a heated pool.
